Jim Carrey Prints Are No Surprise To Jim CarreyWhen Jim Carrey was still a young and struggling comedian that could barely find enough money to buy food or keep a roof over his head he did something that every single person that knew him thought was crazy. He wrote himself a check for $10 million and he told his family and friends that before he was done with show business he would be able to cash that check. All of these years later Jim Carrey made good on his promise and has been able to cash that check several times over thanks to his tremendous success. Jim Carrey initially found national success on the hit comedy variety show In Living Color and with characters like Fire Marshall Bill and his unique portrayal of Charles Manson Carrey was gaining a name for himself. Like any other successful comedian in a television show he decided at some point that the time had come to get into movies because movies is where he would really find his fortune. He had visions of Jim Carrey movie posters all over the place and after a couple of failed attempts at the movie business in such films as Earth Girls Are Easy Jim Carrey happened upon a role that would fulfill his vision of Jim Carrey movie prints all over the world and it was not long before posters of Jim Carrey were being seen all over the world. A lot of actors and comedians turned down the role of Ace Ventura in what many people saw as an instant comedy flop called Ace Venture Pet Detective. Jim Carrey took the role and instantly saw a chance to make it his calling card to fame and fortune. It isn't really clear exactly what Jim Carrey saw in the role of Ace Ventura that others did not see but by the time the Ace Ventura poster came out to announce the opening of the movie there was a fear that no one would care.
After a less than stellar opening there were fears the movie would flop but suddenly it took off and after a while there was an Ace Ventura print everywhere you looked and as the movie launched him into fame and fortune you were soon to seen posters of Jim Carrey all over the place and a Jim Carrey film poster meant a great deal of anticipation for people all over the world as he quickly became known as one of greatest comedic actors of his generation. After another hit performance in a movie that was expected to bomb with Dumb And Dumber Jim Carrey posters were everywhere. Everyone wanted a Jim Carrey print and he soon became one of the most recognizable faces in movies. He has shown his range in many movies like The Truman Show and The Cable Guy and soon a Jim Carrey poster came to represent a well rounded and talented actor. Jim Carrey prints have slowed down in sales in recent years as Carrey has taken on a large variety of roles that have not allowed people to really grab on to the outrageous comedy antics that made him popular in the first place. But Jim Carrey has earned the right to experiment with his career and to take on roles that people may not expect to see him in. He is an actor now and his desire to reach out and test the various types of roles being offered to him is something he prefers to chase. To think it all started over a $10 million promise he made to himself all of those years ago.
